Once upon a time....

Once upon a time...

A weird lonely non mexican arrived the the old good US...
he faced cultural shock, junky food, weird looking people, and even racism...
But he also found some friendly people wherever he went... and even if there was no one; he always made friends somehow...

Once upon a time....

A lady was introduced to him.... She was nice to him since the very first moment she saw him...
This old lady would treat him like a grandson:
She used to fix him meals...
She would fix his shirts, and even sew his pants because he was so small that the american average size of pants would be too long for him.
She loved him, and he called him grandma, because he felt he found on her the Grandma he could never had...
She was all that and even more...

One winter day, she got sick, And Carlos went to the hospital to see her....

Because he loved her...
While she was on recovering, he used to come on weekends to the nursery home to see her...

Because she was the only grandma he ever had

She got better, and Carlos saw her again and promised himself  if this would ever happen again he would come and see her...

One day Carlos left, he went back to South America ( not mexico ) where he belonged....
But while he was there she got sick again...

Carlos wanted to see her....

But again he was not allow... and this time He could not even wait outside the hospital's room...
He prayed asking the Almighty one to keep her so he could see her again...

But a week ago Jesus decided to put an end to her misery and took her with him...

Now she is happy, she can walk again, and sing, I bet she is with the angels now, because I think she is just like them....

But Carlos could not see her again....
And Carlos is very sad about it... and he doesn't understand why the law did not allowed him to see her...

Once upon a time....

he had to move away, to a new place again, but this time memories were too deep inside to be left behind....

To you Grandma Summers,
Because i know that from above you are still
caring about me, and I know that from
where you are you still see me.
To you my dear grandma.
With love form your adopted grandson.

The end....

Ademmdum: From this lines I would also like to thank Grandma Maclurg for everything she has been to me. And no words can express my thankfulness to you and your husband, you might not get to see this but I want everyone who gets to see this to know how much I do apreciate you too.
