What it this?
-A what?
-And this word?

I see...

-So... In which language is this?

-Ok... Just a second...

And my poor peruvian Driver's License went around the whole DMV office. The employees, as little kids when you give them a new toy, where all exited to see something out of ussual.

-So, where is the guy from?
-Is this the number? Where is the date of birth?
-This looks like Portuguese...
-Not too loud, he is right outside!

Quite a funny and kinda embarrasing scene there...
They were very kind to me and though it took them a while to help me out, they surely did.
I had a test last week for my driver's license, but I failed.
Which got me all desapointed cuz I did study hard. But today I went again and thanks God I passed.
But the whole thing made me realize my English is only good enough to keep up a conversation but not for anything mayor, like a DMV test...
Like, what means uneven road? I didnt know there was such a word!
Or black ice? I have only seen white one!
So after I passed I was required to show my country license plus some piece of ID. And that's when the fun begun.

I don't have another piece of ID... This is why I want a driver's license...
DUH! or as canadians would say: DUH EH!

So now because there is no way to make my home license valid, I will now have to star from beginers. Well, I don't care. As long as they let me drive, is all good.
All this made me miss Andrea, my american sister...She was the one who taugh me how to drive, back in Akron, NY...
Oh well. I will share my learning to drive process with you tomorrow cuz it's late now and I better get some sleep.
Thanks for caring enough about me to read this lines and above all, for being my friend.

- Can I have my Peruvian licence back?...

- OH yeah sure. Sir, May I make a copy of it?

Why? you just said is usseless.

Actually ( blush ) I want to show my son how a foreign license looks like... He is taking Spanish at school...
Sure.

Canadians!... Americans!.... You all are always giving me a reason to laugh...
